The Indian Navy has signed a contract with Suryadipta Projects Private Limited for the construction and delivery of three 200T Bottom Opening Non-Propelled Barges, scheduled for completion by January 16, 2026. This initiative supports the Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, contributing to the domestic shipbuilding ecosystem and aligning with the Maritime India Vision 2030, which focuses on enhancing self-reliance in the maritime sector.
