IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers Resigns Amid Operational Challenges; Indonesia Acquires BrahMos Missile
Pieter Elbers has resigned as CEO of IndiGo, effective March 10, 2026, amid operational difficulties that began with a crew scheduling collapse in December 2025. Rahul Bhatia, Managing Director, will temporarily oversee operations. Separately, Indonesia has agreed to acquire India's BrahMos cruise missile system, strengthening defense ties established through a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
