Inditex Invests €18.6M in Startups Focused on New Materials
Inditex has invested €18.6 million through its fund with Mundi Ventures in three new materials companies and entered Theker Robotics with a convertible note. This investment reflects Inditex's strategic focus on innovation in the textile sector.

Inditex's CEO, Óscar García Maceiras, announced the company's first startup investment in summer 2022, acquiring a stake in Circ, a clothing recycling firm. In the subsequent two years, Inditex established a €50 million fund managed by Mundi Ventures, aimed at textile innovation.
The fund has deployed €18.6 million across three companies focused on new materials and has entered into a partnership with Theker Robotics using a convertible note. This investment strategy could enhance Inditex's sustainability efforts and position it competitively in an evolving industry landscape.
