Indonesia's Defense Ministry announced the expected arrival of its second Airbus A400M transport aircraft at the end of March 2026. The first unit arrived on November 3, 2025. This acquisition, part of a contract signed in 2021, aims to enhance the Air Force's operational capabilities.

Indonesia's Defense Ministry anticipates the arrival of its second Airbus A400M transport aircraft by the end of March 2026. This follows the first unit's arrival on November 3, 2025. The contract for two A400M aircraft was signed in 2021 by President Prabowo Subianto during the Dubai Airshow, which also included a letter of intent for four additional units.
The A400M will strengthen the Air Force's ability to safeguard Indonesia's air territory. Indonesia is the 10th nation to operate the A400M, joining Malaysia, Turkey, and Kazakhstan in Asia.
