Spain's Air Force started utilizing the Meteor missile on Eurofighter aircraft in 2022. By 2024, live firing exercises occurred at RAF Lossiemouth and the Hebrides range. A software modification cycle allowed the first launch of three telemetry Meteor missiles and an AIM-120B.

Indra is enhancing the missile's datalink, which improves range and resistance against countermeasures. The Meteor is recognized as the most advanced air-to-air missile, operable by various fighters, including the F-35.
