Indra Group Restructures Leadership of Indra Space, Hispasat, and Hisdesat Following Hispasat Acquisition
Indra Group has reorganized its leadership structure for Indra Space, Hispasat, and Hisdesat after acquiring 89.68% of Hispasat from Redeia for €725 million. Miguel Ángel Panduro has been appointed as the new director of Indra Space, succeeding Luis Mayo Muñiz, who becomes the CEO of Hispasat.
Ana Maria Molina has been named CEO of Hisdesat. This restructuring aligns with Indra's strategic plan 'Leading the Future,' aiming to establish the company as a leader in the European space sector and enhance capabilities in secure communications and satellite observation.
The acquisition also allows Indra to consolidate Hisdesat, expanding its role in defense and governmental satellite services. Indra Group is positioned to lead key programs such as IRIS², SpainSat NG, and PAZ, addressing the rising demand for miniaturized satellites and strengthening its competitive edge in satellite technology.
