Infinium has launched Infinium Edge, a proprietary immersion cooling fluid aimed at data centers, particularly for AI environments. The fluids are described as low-carbon dielectric liquids designed for thermal performance, stability, and safety.
Produced at Infinium Energy's eFuel facilities, these fluids utilize renewable power, water, and captured carbon dioxide as feedstocks. Infinium's first production plant in Corpus Christi, Texas started operations in late 2023, with clients including Amazon.
The company is also introducing immersion-based modular AI factories, although specific details are pending. Infinium's investors include Mitsui & Co., Brookfield, and several other firms. Other companies like Shell and Cargill have also developed immersion cooling fluids.
