Innoson and Kia Nigeria Leaders Recognized for Automotive Contributions
Dr. Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma and Jacky Hathiramani received prestigious awards in Lagos for their impact on Nigeria's automotive sector. Their efforts are significant as the industry shifts towards sustainable mobility solutions.

Dr. Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, received the 'Motoring World Automobile Industrialisation Icon Award' on June 4, 2026, for his contributions to Nigeria's automotive industry.
Innoson, established in 2010, is noted for producing vehicles with high local content and was the first to manufacture vehicles using compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Jacky Hathiramani, Managing Director of Dana Motors, was also honored with an award for his leadership in automotive enterprise.
Kia Motors Nigeria is enhancing its investment in electric vehicle technology and local assembly to support sustainable transportation, as it is recognized as a certified CNG conversion center. These developments signify a shift in Nigeria's automotive landscape towards cleaner energy and innovation.
