Innoson Group is expanding its manufacturing operations with a new plant for compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks and electric vehicles in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria. The facility, nearing completion, will have the capacity to produce approximately 3,000 CNG units annually across six vehicle types and is expected to be operational soon.

This expansion will create 2,000 jobs by 2026 and includes a technical training program for young Nigerians, focusing on skills related to the plant's production. Innoson aims to enhance local manufacturing capabilities and reduce reliance on imported vehicles. The investment is anticipated to stimulate the local economy by increasing demand for logistics and maintenance services in the region.
