Innoson Group to Establish CNG and Electric Vehicle Plant in Nigeria
Innoson Group is set to establish a new plant in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria, for the production of compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks and electric vehicles, with a capacity to manufacture approximately 3,000 units annually. The facility, expected to be operational soon, will create 2,000 jobs by 2026 and include a technical training program for local youth, aimed at enhancing manufacturing capabilities and reducing reliance on imported vehicles. This investment is projected to boost the local economy by increasing demand for logistics and maintenance services.
