Innovative Kazuba Toilets Installed at A75 Garrigue Rest Area
Starting April 27, the A75 highway's Garrigue rest area will feature Kazuba toilets, offering a 100% autonomous solution that requires no water or electricity. This initiative aims to save water equivalent to that used by a town of 5,000 residents annually.

The Garrigue rest area on the A75 will introduce Kazuba toilets on April 27, providing an ecological service that operates without water, electricity, or environmental waste. Kazuba, a French SME, designed these toilets to use a natural treatment system based on solar ventilation and evaporation, ensuring odor-free conditions without chemicals.
This installation will save an amount of water equivalent to that consumed by a community of 5,000 people yearly, while also eliminating the need for costly network connections and reducing maintenance needs. The deployment of these toilets represents a significant step towards resource preservation in public facilities.
