Innoviz Technologies has announced the deployment of its InnovizSMART LiDAR system at critical infrastructure locations in Israel over the last three months. InnovizSMART features advanced 3D sensing capabilities, enabling the creation of virtual perimeters that detect and classify objects with high precision at distances over 450 meters.

The system can discern movement behind obstacles and performs well in adverse weather. When integrated with cameras, it can track multiple targets and reduce false alarms. InnovizSMART will be showcased at the Defense.tech expo in Tel Aviv on February 17-18, 2026.
