INSPIRE Project Benefits Over 13,000 Students Across Nigeria in STEM Education
The INSPIRE Project, a collaboration between PanAfricare and TechWomen Nigeria Alumni Association, has impacted over 13,000 students in Nigeria, enhancing their access to STEM education. Funded by the ExxonMobil Foundation, the project has improved educational resources in 14 underserved secondary schools, focusing on innovative learning tools and modern lab equipment. The initiative has notably increased student interest in STEM subjects and careers while promoting gender inclusion and accessibility for students with disabilities.

The INSPIRE Project, implemented by PanAfricare in partnership with TechWomen Nigeria Alumni Association and funded by the ExxonMobil Foundation, has benefited over 13,000 students in Nigeria. The project enhanced STEM education through innovative learning tools and modern laboratory equipment in 14 underserved secondary schools across various states.
Notably, student interest in STEM subjects rose from 40% to 88%, and interest in STEM careers surged from 38% to over 91%. The project achieved 66.1% female participation and included 3% students with disabilities. Additionally, 105 STEM teachers received advanced training in key areas such as robotics and 3D modeling, contributing to a new generation of innovators.
