Intellian Technologies Launches OW7MP Portable Satellite Terminal for Tactical Use
Intellian Technologies has unveiled the OW7MP Manpack, a portable satellite terminal optimized for tactical communications. This innovation enables low-latency connectivity via the OneWeb LEO network, crucial for operations in areas lacking reliable infrastructure.

The OW7MP Manpack, weighing under 9 kg and measuring 458 × 358 × 108 mm, is designed for rapid deployment in military scenarios. It connects to the OneWeb constellation, which includes over 600 satellites, enabling continuous global coverage and low latency.
The system supports Comms-on-the-Pause and Comms-on-the-Move, maintaining connectivity at speeds up to 130 kph. Built on an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) architecture, it provides enhanced satellite acquisition and stability, with throughput levels reaching 57 × 10 Mbps.
The device operates effectively in temperatures from -30°C to +55°C, adheres to IP67 standards, and meets MIL-STD-810H criteria. Designed for extended missions, it can utilize external battery systems for up to five hours of operation.
Optional ruggedized accessories enhance its field deployment capabilities. The OW7MP represents a trend towards mobile, resilient communication solutions in defense sectors, highlighting the need for reliable operations regardless of fixed infrastructure.
