The International Test Pilots School (ITPS) has secured a contract from the United States Air Force Test Pilot School (USAF TPS) to deliver HU-16C flight test training services at Edwards Air Force Base, California. This contract entails providing flight instruction, maintenance support, and flight hours utilizing the HU-16C Albatross Amphibious Training and Laboratory Aircraft System (ATLAS).

The aircraft is configured for performance testing and systems assessment, supporting the academic objectives of USAF TPS. The contract lasts for 12 months and includes pilot instruction, aircraft maintenance, and ferry support. ITPS has operated the Albatross since 2017 and has extensive experience in military flight test operations.
