Investment Migration Trends and Record Exports in Latin America
Panama ranks first in Latin America's investment migration programs, while Argentina projects record exports of $103.2 billion for 2026. This shift highlights the increasing attractiveness of Latin America for both residency investment and export opportunities.

Panama leads Latin America's investment migration programs with a score of 84.4, followed by Paraguay and the Dominican Republic. In 2024, Panama's Qualified Investor program approvals rose 75% to 327, with US citizens now the largest applicant group.
Argentina's exporters project record sales of $103.2 billion for 2026, driven by crude oil and Vaca Muerta shale exports. The country recorded $58.365 billion in exports from January to July 2026, marking a 22.9% increase from the previous year. The focus on oil and lithium exports is reshaping the trade landscape in Argentina, while rising FDI in Latin America positions the region as an attractive hub for investment migration amid restrictive European policies.
