Involve Space Launches Houston Operations, Partners with Rhodium Scientific
Involve Space has opened an office at Houston Spaceport, specializing in stratospheric balloon missions. The partnership with Rhodium Scientific aims to validate biotech experiments in near-space environments, enhancing innovation in aerospace applications.

Involve Space, an Italian startup founded in 2021, has initiated operations at Houston Spaceport. The company focuses on stratospheric balloon missions and has conducted over 200 flights, raising €16.5 million in funding, including a €12.5 million grant from the EIC Accelerator program.
The inaugural stratospheric launch from Houston occurred in January 2025, with a flight duration of 5 hours, covering 400 km, and reaching 26 km altitude. The first commercial launches from this facility are expected by year-end. The partnership with Rhodium Scientific underscores a commitment to integrating biotechnology into near-space research, potentially driving advancements in that field.
