Iran Pledges Support in Search for Missing Thai Crew from Mayuree Naree
Iran's Foreign Minister has committed to accelerating search efforts for three missing Thai crew members from the Mayuree Naree vessel. Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow confirmed direct talks with Iran to coordinate assistance, as 20 crew members have been rescued. Thailand is also coordinating with the Omani government and the Thai Navy to expedite the search operation.

Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow confirmed he held talks with his Iranian counterpart to coordinate assistance. Thailand has also requested cooperation from the Omani government and the Thai Navy to work directly with the Iranian Navy. Additionally, Sihasak noted Thailand maintains oil reserves for 95 to 100 days but is seeking alternative suppliers due to geopolitical uncertainty.
