Iran's Foreign Minister has pledged to expedite search efforts for three Thai crew members missing from the Mayuree Naree vessel, while 20 crew members were rescued. The vessel is drifting between Omani and Iranian waters.

Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow confirmed he held talks with his Iranian counterpart to coordinate assistance. Thailand has also requested cooperation from the Omani government and the Thai Navy to work directly with the Iranian Navy. Additionally, Sihasak noted Thailand maintains oil reserves for 95 to 100 days but is seeking alternative suppliers due to geopolitical uncertainty.
