Iran's billet and bloom production rose 7.9% in the first nine months of the Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2025), totaling 15.027 million tons, up from 13.933 million tons in the same period last year, according to the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). Billet and bloom are essential semi-finished steel products, with blooms being larger and used for structural components, while billets are smaller, serving for finished products.
