IRH Secures 20-Year LNG Supply Agreement with AMIGO LNG in Mexico
International Resources Holding (IRH) has signed a 20-year LNG supply agreement with AMIGO LNG, aiming to meet rising global energy demand and enhance supply chain resilience. This partnership facilitates direct access to Asian markets, circumventing constraints associated with the Panama Canal.

International Resources Holding (IRH) has finalized a 20-year Sale and Purchase Agreement with AMIGO LNG to acquire 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG from the AMIGO project in Guaymas, Mexico, with deliveries commencing in late 2028. This agreement diversifies IRH's LNG supply sources and capitalizes on Mexico's strategic position for direct shipping to Asia, mitigating reliance on the Panama Canal.
The partnership also reinforces Mexico’s role as a pivotal LNG hub, providing alternative routes to enhance energy security for international markets. As global energy demand escalates, this agreement may impact LNG pricing dynamics and supply chain strategies.
