Israel Accelerates Arrow Interceptor Production Amid Iran Threat
Israel's Defense Ministry has approved a significant increase in Arrow interceptor production by Israel Aerospace Industries to enhance national security against ballistic threats from Iran and its proxies. This move underscores the urgency of strengthening Israel's air defense capabilities amidst ongoing military operations.

The Israeli Defense Ministry's ministerial committee has approved a plan to accelerate Arrow interceptor production at Israel Aerospace Industries, set to be signed shortly. This initiative aims to increase both the production rate and quantity of interceptors in response to heightened threats from Iran and its proxies, further developing Israel's multi-layered air defense system, which includes the Arrow, David's Sling, and Iron Dome.
The production acceleration, already initiated under an emergency mandate, is led by Moshe Patal of the Israel Missile Defense Organization in collaboration with various defense divisions. The Arrow system, developed with the US Missile Defense Agency, has proven effective against ballistic missile threats from Iran and Yemen. The approval is expected to enhance operational capabilities and preparedness significantly in the months to come.
