Israeli Army Conducts Raids in Qalandia Refugee Camp and Nablus Amid Escalating Military Operations
The Israeli army's recent operations in the Qalandia refugee camp and Nablus reflect a significant escalation in military activity in the West Bank since October 2023. This surge has resulted in substantial casualties and arrests among the Palestinian population.

Israeli military operations in the West Bank have intensified, with a reported 1,154 Palestinians killed and nearly 22,000 arrested since October 2023. On Monday, Israeli forces raided the Qalandia refugee camp, evacuating residents and repurposing homes for military use, including detention and interrogation centers.
Similar operations were conducted in Nablus, where forces entered through the al-Murabba checkpoint and executed house searches. The army also deployed drones over the camp, reflecting heightened surveillance and military presence. This ongoing military escalation poses significant risks to civilian safety and stability in the region.
