Additionally, the Cabinet has approved the shutdown of Army Radio, which will cease operations on March 1, 2026, after 75 years of broadcasting.

The Israeli Knesset has passed a bill allowing the Communications Ministry to restrict foreign channels that are considered to pose a 'real harm to state security.' The legislation, proposed by Likud lawmaker Ariel Kallner, was approved with a 22-10 vote, replacing the previous wartime emergency law known as the 'Al Jazeera Law.' Additionally, the Israeli Cabinet has approved the shutdown of Army Radio (Galei Tzahal), which will cease operations on March 1, 2026, after 75 years of broadcasting.
