Italian President Sergio Mattarella is set to visit the UAE to enhance bilateral cooperation with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, following the UAE's announcement of a $40 billion investment in Italy across various sectors. Non-oil trade between the two nations reached $13.81 billion in 2024, marking an 18.71% increase from the previous year, while investments from the UAE in Italy have totaled approximately $178 million since 2020.

Italian President Sergio Mattarella will visit the UAE to meet with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss bilateral cooperation. The UAE announced a $40 billion investment in Italy, focusing on sectors such as economy, defense, energy, and cultural heritage.
In 2024, non-oil trade between both nations reached $13.81 billion, an 18.71% increase from the previous year. Between 2020 and 2024, UAE investments in Italy totaled approximately $178 million, while Italian investments in the UAE reached about $602 million.
