James Way Appointed Harbour Master of Guernsey Ports
DEFENSE
James Way has been appointed Harbour Master of Guernsey Ports, succeeding Jerome Davis due to health issues. Way previously worked for Guernsey Ports as a seasonal marina attendant and served 11 years in the Royal Navy and at the UK Coastguard.
He has been acting harbour master for about a year. His goals include enhancing teamwork among staff and preparing for summer operations, particularly for an increase in visitors from France. Guernsey Ports is focused on maintenance to accommodate the expected surge in yacht traffic.
