Jamie Hagio, Chief of the Construction Division for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Far East District, has been awarded the USACE FY25 Individual Award for Excellence in Safety on February 11, 2026. This award recognizes his leadership in fostering a proactive safety culture while managing over $1.2 billion in construction projects in South Korea, achieving a 75% reduction in serious mishaps despite a doubling of contractor work hours to 4.3 million.
