JERA and Dunkerque LNG Sign Six-Year Regasification Agreement Starting 2031
JERA Co., Inc. and Dunkerque LNG have entered into a six-year agreement for 2 billion cubic meters per year of LNG regasification capacity at the Dunkirk terminal, starting in 2031. This collaboration aims to enhance JERA's LNG supply chain flexibility and ensure a stable energy supply for Japan amid market uncertainties. The Dunkerque terminal's total regasification capacity is now fully contracted until 2036, with additional capacity expected to be available in 2037.

JERA Co., Inc. and Dunkerque LNG have signed a six-year agreement for 2 billion cubic meters per year of LNG regasification capacity at the Dunkirk terminal, effective from 2031. This partnership is intended to strengthen JERA's LNG supply chain flexibility, ensuring stable energy supply for Japan amid market uncertainties. The entire regasification capacity of the Dunkerque terminal, totaling 13 billion cubic meters per year, is now fully contracted until 2036, with additional capacity available starting in 2037.
