JetZero Secures $175M to Develop Z4 Blended-Wing Aircraft in Long Beach
JetZero has raised $175 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding to over $1 billion, to develop the Z4 blended-wing aircraft prototype, which aims for its first flight by late 2027. Designed for 250 passengers with a range of 5,000 nautical miles, the Z4 seeks to enhance fuel efficiency by 50% compared to traditional aircraft, with support from major partners including United Airlines and Delta Air Lines. Additionally, JetZero has secured a $235 million contract with the US Air Force for an early version of the aircraft.

JetZero, based in Long Beach, raised $175 million in Series B funding led by B Capital, bringing total funding to over $1 billion. The funds will support the Z4 aircraft prototype, targeting a first flight by late 2027.
The Z4, designed for 250 passengers and a 5,000 nautical mile range, aims to improve fuel efficiency by 50% over conventional aircraft. Partners include United Airlines, Northrop Grumman, and Delta Air Lines, with 200 purchase commitments from various airlines. JetZero has also secured a $235 million contract with the US Air Force for an early version of the Z4.
