JFD Enhances Indian Navy's Submarine Rescue Capacity
JFD has established a dual-location submarine rescue capability for the Indian Navy, ensuring high availability and rapid deployment.

JFD has implemented a high-availability submarine rescue system for the Indian Navy at bases in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam. This system operates under a Government Owned / Government Operated / Contractor Maintained (GOOGCM) model, facilitating deep-sea operations and full procedural integration with the Navy's existing protocols.
The solution includes two Fly-Away Submarine Rescue capabilities, complete with a Launch and Recovery System (LARS), ancillary equipment, and training for Indian Navy personnel. The initiative ensures compliance and rapid operational readiness, critical for supporting both eastern and western naval commands. The partnership highlights JFD's expertise in complex maritime rescue solutions, potentially improving overall naval safety and operational efficiency.
