Joburg Water is advancing multiple projects to improve water supply in Midrand, addressing increasing demand. These enhancements are crucial for accommodating the area’s growing population and ensuring reliable access to water resources.

Joburg Water's projects in Midrand aim to elevate the water supply infrastructure to meet rising demand. The Carlswald Reservoir, with a capacity of 20 megalitres, is currently 25% complete and slated for completion by July next year.
The Erand Tower and Pump Station is nearing 95% completion but has faced a temporary halt due to budget constraints. Additionally, the Blue Hills Tower is still in the planning stage. These initiatives are intended to bolster water storage capabilities and reliability, positioning Midrand for current and future needs.
