The Jonesborough Board of Mayor and Aldermen has finalized a one-year agreement with Atmos Energy, ensuring ongoing natural gas services for residents without immediate changes to customer experience. A new emergency alert system has been approved to improve communication during emergencies, incorporating verbal alerts and sirens.
Additionally, plans are underway for a new park in partnership with BrightRidge, focusing on mitigating light pollution and improving local amenities. A sales contract for the acquisition of Greene Hill has also been completed.
