Holbox has upgraded its logistics with an automated solution from Jungheinrich at its new site in Roermond, moving from Echt in spring 2025. The implementation includes two EKS 215a mobile robots and additional industrial trucks, which take over heavy transport tasks to alleviate forklift drivers' workloads.
The robots are operated via a user-friendly web-based interface and utilize laser scanning and sensors for safe navigation. A unique safety system detects obstacles above standard heights, allowing for proactive speed adjustments.
