JUWI Inc. Proposes Adobe Creek Solar Energy Facility in Kiowa County
JUWI Inc. presented the Adobe Creek Solar Energy Facility project at a community open house in Haswell, Colorado. The facility aims to generate up to 500 MW of electricity across 3,300 acres, beginning near Arlington and extending northwest. The $500 million project could start construction in late 2026 and create between 300-400 jobs during construction. It is expected to generate $47 million in property tax revenue over 35 years. The project is currently in the Kiowa County 1041 permitting process, with community input to follow once a public hearing is set.

JUWI Inc. has proposed the Adobe Creek Solar Energy Facility, a large-scale solar project in Kiowa County, Colorado, designed to generate up to 500 megawatts of electricity over approximately 3,300 acres. The project, located north of Arlington along Highway 96, is estimated to cost $500 million and could begin construction in late 2026, taking around 2.5 years to complete.
The facility will provide 300-400 construction jobs at peak and is projected to generate $47 million in property tax revenue over its 35-year lifespan.
