K2 Airways Cargo Plane Disappears Near Karachi with Five Crew Members
A K2 Airways cargo aircraft lost contact over the Arabian Sea while returning from Sharjah to Karachi. Rescue operations are underway to locate the missing flight KTA-1732, which experienced navigational issues before vanishing from radar.

Flight KTA-1732 of K2 Airways, with five crew members, lost radar contact approximately 300 kilometers west of Karachi late Tuesday night. The aircraft, piloted by Captain Rizwan Idrees and First Officer Faisal Mehmood, was returning from Sharjah after undergoing mechanical work.
At 9:18 PM PST, the crew reported navigation system issues, and by 9:21 PM, the aircraft was seen descending rapidly before communication was lost. A rescue coordination center has been activated, with the Pakistan Navy and other agencies engaged in a search operation, including an ATR aircraft and a commercial vessel.
