Kaduna Governor Uba Sani Launches Nigeria's Largest Inter-State Bus Terminal

SYNTHETIC FUELS

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has initiated the construction of Nigeria's largest inter-state bus terminal, located on 20 hectares along the Eastern Bypass in Chikun Local Government Area. The Ultra-Modern Inter-State Bus Terminal will feature a dual terminal with a capacity for over 5,000 vehicles, enhanced by intelligent traffic management and surveillance systems.

The facility will include escalators, elevators, and refueling stations for petrol, diesel, and CNG, and will also house a three-star hotel. The project aims to decongest the city center, improve connectivity, and create thousands of jobs. It is part of a broader transport reform strategy, which includes the deployment of 100 free CNG buses, completion of 200 modern bus stops, and plans for the Kaduna Light Rail Project and a Bus Rapid Transit corridor set to begin by March 2026.
