Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a guard of honour at the Prime Minister's House in Islamabad during his official visit. He met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss expanding bilateral ties, including trade, investment, and regional cooperation.

Several MoUs and agreements are expected to be signed to enhance collaboration. A day prior, a squadron of Pakistan Air Force fighter jets performed an aerial salute upon Tokayev's entry into Pakistani airspace, symbolizing the strong friendship between the two nations. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also engaged with Tokayev to emphasize the mutual commitment to strengthen political and economic cooperation.
