KEK Palu Secures $20 Million Investment from PT LNG for Gas Infrastructure
PT Lingkar Nusantara Gas has committed $20 million to develop LNG regasification and pipeline infrastructure in KEK Palu. This investment aims to ensure energy supply for tenants and is expected to stimulate further economic growth in the region.

KEK Palu in Central Sulawesi has received a $20 million (approximately Rp342.8 billion) investment from PT Lingkar Nusantara Gas. The project focuses on LNG regasification facilities and gas pipelines, starting construction this year with completion expected by 2027.
The development includes a receiving terminal, anticipated to finish post-2028, and plans for a virtual pipeline to extend service beyond KEK. LNG supply will primarily originate from the CIMC project in Morowali, with a contingency plan to source from a facility in Java by late 2026. A memorandum of understanding was signed in Jakarta between PT LNG and PT Bangun Palu Sulawesi Tengah, indicating a strategic partnership aimed at bolstering local energy infrastructure.
