Kelluu Secures €15M for Autonomous Airship Development in Europe
Kelluu has raised €15 million in Series A funding to enhance its fleet of autonomous airships for surveillance. This investment, led by NATO Innovation Fund, aims to address Europe's defense needs amid increasing military expenditures.

Kelluu, a Finnish startup, has raised €15 million in Series A funding to expand its fleet of hydrogen-powered autonomous airships, capable of monitoring vast areas. The funding round, the first investment by NATO Innovation Fund into a Finnish company, included participation from Keen Venture Partners, Gungnir Capital, and Tesi.
Kelluu's airships can cover approximately 30,000 square kilometers, equivalent to Belgium's size, and are designed for persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. The investment will support scaling efforts and development of their sensing technology for both defense and civilian applications. As European defense spending increases, Kelluu's innovations could significantly enhance real-time monitoring capabilities.
