Kemira and Hazer Group signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding to evaluate the commercial feasibility of Hazer's methane pyrolysis technology within Kemira's operations. Kemira will test Hazer's carbon materials for water treatment and assess integration of the technology.

If initial results are positive, further discussions on technology licensing and product offtake agreements may follow. The MOU has an initial term of one year, with both parties covering their own costs.
