The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity has introduced its 2026 summer programs and secured three US patents for sleep apnea diagnostics. This initiative aims to enhance skills in science and technology for students and educators while addressing a significant health issue with innovative diagnostic tools.

The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) has launched its 2026 summer season, running from June to September, focusing on science and technology training for students. The center has also registered three patents in the US for innovative sleep apnea diagnostic methods, developed with the Dasman Diabetes Institute.
These patents utilize metabolic biomarkers and microRNA markers to enable earlier detection of sleep apnea. The summer programs include workshops in programming, robotics, and artificial intelligence, alongside initiatives aimed at promoting lifelong learning and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Turki emphasized the importance of these developments in addressing health complications associated with sleep disorders, which affect approximately 936 million individuals worldwide.
