Kinectrics Selected for UKAEA-Eni H3AT Tritium Loop Facility Design and Fabrication
Kinectrics has been appointed as the design and fabrication partner for the UKAEA-Eni H3AT Tritium Loop Facility, expected to be the world's largest tritium research facility upon completion in 2030. This collaboration with the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and Eni aims to advance tritium technologies for fusion power plants, leveraging Kinectrics' expertise in fusion, nuclear, and renewable energy. The facility will focus on developing critical tritium-handling technologies and will enhance UK-Canada cooperation in fusion energy.

Kinectrics has been selected as the design and fabrication partner for the UKAEA-Eni H3AT Tritium Loop Facility, set to be the largest tritium fuel cycle facility globally by 2030. This initiative, in collaboration with the UK Atomic Energy Authority and Eni, aims to enhance tritium technologies crucial for fusion power plants.
Kinectrics will utilize its experience in systems engineering and safety compliance to develop critical tritium-handling technologies, including the Atmospheric and Water Detritiation Systems. The project is supported by up to $15 million from the Canadian government, reinforcing international cooperation in fusion energy.
