Kinetic Watts & Volts Ltd. has been approved for a ₹42 crore incentive under the Maharashtra Electric Vehicle Policy, disbursed over 10 years. This supports investments in robotics, battery assembly, and component localization in Maharashtra.

The company recently entered the electric two-wheeler market with the Kinetic DX EV, sourcing 99% of components domestically, which contributed to qualifying for the scheme. The incentive is linked to an investment of about ₹70 crore and aims to boost production capacity. Kinetic Watts & Volts operates an 87,000 square foot facility and plans national expansion.
