Koc Holding to Invest in 200 MW Solar Power Plant in Romania

SOLAR ENERGY

Koc Holding's subsidiary Entek Elektrik is set to invest in a solar power plant in Niculesti, Romania, expected to add at least 200 MWp of capacity. This project follows Entek Elektrik's acquisition of Eco Sun Niculesti and Euromec-Ciocanari in early 2025, which holds the necessary development rights. This marks Entek's entry into the Romanian energy market, complementing its management of 490 MW of installed capacity in Türkiye.
