Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace signed letters of intent with three Belgian companies—Intersoft Advionics, Sioen Industries, and Feronyl—during the Brussels European Defense Exhibition and Conference (BEDEX) from 12 to 14 March. The LoIs aim to establish long-term collaboration in the production and development of air defence systems, notably the NASAMS.

The three-year, extendable agreements involve joint exploration of cooperation opportunities, technical expertise exchange, and adherence to ethical practices. The agreements are non-binding but lay the groundwork for potential future contracts. Belgian Defence Minister Theo Francken noted that the companies would supply components for NASAMS and the Kongsberg supply chain.
