Kontrari and West Coast Invest have acquired Ferd's 50% stake in Fjord Line, becoming equal owners of the Norwegian ferry company. The new ownership structure aims to enhance financial stability and long-term growth. Fjord Line operates international ferry routes between Norway and Denmark and has invested in modernization, including the introduction of high-speed vessels and dual-fuel engines for sustainability. Ferd exits after ten years of co-ownership, leaving Fjord Line well-positioned for future growth.

Kontrari and West Coast Invest have acquired Ferd's stake in Fjord Line, making them equal 50% owners of the Norwegian ferry company. This ownership aims to strengthen Fjord Line's financial flexibility and long-term ambitions.
The company serves around one million guests annually on routes between Norway and Denmark, with significant investments made in recent years, including the delivery of the high-speed vessel Fjord FSTR. Fjord Line has also established a sustainability position with LNG-powered vessels. Ferd exits after a decade of co-ownership, noting the modernization and improved strategy of Fjord Line.
