Kopin Corporation has received a $2 million order for microdisplay production to be integrated into a new rotary-wing helmet-mounted display (HMD) system for defense applications. The HMD system will utilize Kopin's active-matrix liquid crystal microdisplays to provide augmented-reality data to pilots, enhancing situational awareness and operational capabilities.

This order is part of a multi-year effort to support a strategically important program for a tier-1 European defense contractor. Kopin continues to advance its portfolio of high-reliability display solutions for defense customers globally.
