Korean Air and Exotrail Collaborate on Orbit Transfer Vehicle Development
Korean Air and Exotrail have signed an MOU to develop an orbit transfer vehicle, enhancing capabilities in satellite deployment and services.

Korean Air has entered into a memorandum of understanding with French aerospace firm Exotrail to jointly develop an orbit transfer vehicle (OTV). The agreement includes collaboration on satellite transportation, payload hosting, multi-orbit deployment, and satellite life extension.
A joint working group will be formed to optimize cost structures and launch plans for these orbital services. This partnership aims to enable Korean Air to tap into the defense and commercial satellite markets while allowing Exotrail to expand its footprint in Asia. The OTV is critical for the precise transport of small satellites, addressing the rising demand for deploying multiple satellites per launch.
