Kosovo has received the OMTAS medium-range anti-tank missile system from Roketsan, designed for effective engagement in varied terrains. The missile has a maximum range of 4 km and features an Imaging Infrared (IIR) seeker for operations in day, night, and adverse weather conditions.

The system allows for both fire-and-forget and fire-and-update engagement modes, enhancing the survivability of operators. OMTAS measures 1.8 m in length, weighs 35 kg, and can be used from tripods or vehicles.

It is equipped with an armor-piercing tandem high-explosive warhead, capable of engaging tanks and light armored vehicles. Additionally, Roketsan introduced L-OMTAS, a laser-guided variant with a range of 5.5 km, complementing OMTAS with different guidance methods. The acquisition supports Kosovo's goal of strengthening its defense capabilities with modern, versatile anti-tank systems.
