Kratos Defense & Security Solutions plans to construct a 40,000-square-foot facility at its Oxmoor Valley campus in Birmingham, Alabama. This expansion will add office space and areas for electromechanical systems, increasing the Birmingham footprint to approximately 150,000 square feet.

The facility aims to enhance Kratos' defense programs and support Alabama's manufacturing workforce. Kratos is also expanding other facilities in the U.S., including sites in Bristow, Oklahoma, and Indiana.
