Kratos Secures $49 Million NSWC PHD Contract for Oriole Rocket Motors and Control Systems
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has been awarded a contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, worth $49 million for the production of up to 36 Oriole™ solid rocket motors and three Thrust Vector Control nozzle kits. The contract includes a base award of $39,077,237 for the rockets and an option for $10,136,009 for the TVC kits, aimed at supporting the Navy's hypersonic test requirements.
