KTEK Aerosystems is advancing its US defense market strategy by establishing SATCOM capabilities through a partnership with Over-Sat Ltd. The company has submitted an export license application to export European-manufactured components to its Los Angeles facility, aiming to streamline its supply chain and enhance local production.

KTEK Aerosystems has submitted an export license application to the Netherlands Central Import and Export Office, which will facilitate the export of components manufactured in Europe for assembly in its Los Angeles facility. This initiative aligns with KTEK's broader strategy to capture the US defense market, projected to reach $1 trillion in funding for FY2026.
KTEK's new business unit will design and manufacture satellite communications components, starting with a partnership with Over-Sat Ltd for their MANTIS and PYTHON systems. The agreement allows KTEK to enter the SATCOM-on-the-Move market, enhancing capabilities for various platforms.
The integration of SATCOM technology is crucial as it meets the demand for lighter, compact communications systems in unmanned platforms. The establishment of the Los Angeles facility and the export license are key steps in KTEK's IPO expansion strategy, emphasizing local production and delivery.
